ONE CONSISTENT APPROACH

Check with a purpose. Edit with care.

A useful review connects the detection result to the quality of the work and the context in which it will be read.

  1. Prepare the original

Save a dated draft, identify the intended reader and review any assignment or publication rules. Keep notes on permitted AI assistance.

  2. Read beyond the score

Inspect the text alongside the result. Check reasoning, sources and context; a detection result alone does not establish who wrote it.

  3. Revise, then compare

Edit for precision and natural expression. Compare versions for factual drift, lost citations or changes in meaning before a final read.

Common questions

Choose your workflow with confidence.

Which workflow should I start with?

Choose by the purpose of the document. Use the essay workflow for coursework or application writing, the paper workflow for research, and the content workflow for web publishing. Teachers can use the classroom workflow to structure a review and a follow-up conversation.

Does an AI detection result prove authorship?

No. Treat the result as a prompt for further review. Read the text, consider the task and compare drafts or writing notes before drawing conclusions. A score on its own is not a sufficient basis for an academic or editorial decision.

Should I revise until I reach a particular score?

Set an editorial goal instead: clearer reasoning, accurate sources and language that fits your reader. Repeated edits aimed only at a score can remove useful detail or alter the meaning. Compare each revision with the original.

Can I use the same process for a long document?

Review coherent sections, preserving the context around quotations and technical explanations. Keep a record of the version checked, then read the complete document to confirm that terminology, argument and references remain consistent.
